Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

Responsibilities

You will be tasked with working and innovating on our core products namely our content and reward sites that receives millions of pageviews monthly, the CMS that bring our content to life as well as the social media advertising platform that generates millions in revenue for our operations and sales team across Southeast Asia.

Requirements

• Design, build, test and release new features and apps.
• Provisioning
• You will work with our production system and help with tech support and debugging

• Rails, Nginx and Phusion Passenger
• Memcached and varnish
• MySql
• AWS S3, EC2 and CloudFront

Qualifications

We are looking for a developer who:

• Has previous web/app development experience and wants to work with/continue to work with Ruby on Rails
• Understands the knowledge domains required by RoR teams, and should be familiar with the following:
• SLIM, Ruby, JQuery, SQL, Grape, JSON, Capistrano, Cucumber, Rspec, Chef, Ansible

Bonus:

• Experience working with Ruby or Go frameworks developing and documenting consumable APIs
• Experience in Test-Driven Development
• Familiarity with AWS services
