About the job:
Oversee the content planning and editorial strategy to grow the readership of Mashable Southeast Asia
Work closely with the team to publish addictive content on consumer tech, lifestyle, and social news for a regional audience
Set standards, procedures, and play on the strengths of individual team members to achieve the team's goals and growth targets
Understand the audience's interests and constantly mobilise the team to serve their ever-changing needs
Quickly identify social media trends and create content based on those trends, with a local twist
Come up with really clickable headlines and brainstorm ideas with other writers, every day!
The person we're looking for:
You must be a people person with leadership skills - people feel energised around you and love working with you!
You should have experience writing and editing digital content, and/or leading a successful digital content team
A quick-thinker and optimistic problem-solver - you're always two steps ahead and looking for solutions to things that need fixing
Able to stay focused and disciplined while working in a fast-paced environment. You won't crack under pressure
You should be generous with the sharing of ideas and know how to make them a reality
